These investments serve to alleviate the cyclical nature of FCP's primary business of condominium conversions while continuing to build the Firm's retained earnings. Investment property types include hospitality, retail, office, and land held for development. Risk tolerances range from core plus to value add and ground up development. In value add and ground up development of commercial properties, FCP will usually partner with an operator who has a strong track record in the property type.
